Mardi Himal Trek

When you arrive in Kathmandu, one of our airport representatives will pick you up and take you to your hotel. Then you will have trip briefing. Overnight at hotel

Drive to Pokhara. After reaching, we check in to our hotel, rest for a while and we will go for a short walk around lakeside from where we can see the views of mountains as well as the beautiful Phewa Lake. Overnight at Pokhara.

We will drive towards Kande, after having our delicious morning breakfast. It will take 7 to 8 hours to reach Kande. While driving towards Kande, you can see the amazing view and enjoy the drive with some music. You will have Lunch in Kande and from there trek to Australian Camp. The walk would be pretty easy and it will take around 2 hours to reach Australian Camp and stay overnight in a tent.

After having breakfast, we will head towards Mardi Himal High Camp. Walking through the grassy land, under the snow and some of the smooth & twisted trails and crossing the Deurali, Forest camp, and Low Camp, we will finally reach the High Base Camp. Overnight stay in Lodge.

Today you will have to get up early to see the most beautiful sunrise views of the towering Himalayas. After breakfast, we begin our ascent to the 4,500 m Mardi Himal Base Camp. It will be a difficult day traveling uptight, rocky trails, but the breathtaking vistas of this magnificent peak will make it all worthy. If the climate allows, you will be able to see Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Tare Kang, Khangsar, Annapurna III, and Fish Tail up close on this day. Overnight stay in High Camp.

Today we begin our descent to Siding Village. We proceed from high camp and return to low camp, where we will have lunch. We travel through the woodland, losing the wonderful mountain vistas but being compensated with glimpses of terraced fields and stunning valley views. Siding is a village with a diverse cultural mix. This is the largest village on the Mardi Himal Trek, so take a look around and learn about the local culture. From Siding village, we will drive towards to “City of Lake” Pokhara and stay overnight in Hotel.

We Drive to Kathmandu. It takes 7 hours to reach Kathmandu by Bus. Alternatively Can Take a Flight to Kathmandu from Pokhara at an extra cost.

This is the end of your Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek. One of the representatives from the Shivalaya Holidays will drop you off at the airport 3 hours earlier to your flight.
