The Manaslu trek is one of the mind-blowing treks in Nepal. This trek brings you towards the panoramic view of Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world, and the Manaslu Conservation Area. This trek tends to be less explored due to its off-the-beaten path. This place is also somewhat hidden but the trail is regarded to be the old one that follows an ancient salt trading road along the Budhi Gandaki river. In comparison to a visit to Annapurna Circuit and Everest Base Camp, this trek is less crowded but still very popular because of its tranquil surroundings. It is regarded to be the best trek in the country which gives insights into the colorful cultures and magical valleys against the backdrop of classic Himalayan peaks.

Ten peaks of over 6500m are visible which gives immense pleasure to the visitors. For the large sections of the circuit, Manaslu is seen very closely. Moreover, walking from the lush subtropical to the steep river gorge, alpine meadows, and rocky moraine made by glaciers is another prettiest part of this trek. Trekking to this pristine place gives a chance to visit remote Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist villages, Buddhist shrines, architecture, culture, and traditions. Having amazing cultural experiences with the Tibetan and Mountain people gives deeper insights into their lifestyle and their traditions.

This trek begins from the Arughat Bazar in the Budhi Gandaki Valley which takes around 8 to 10hours from Kathmandu. The highest point of this trek is taken to be Larkya La Pass which is considered to be the most amazing pass crossing the Himalayas. The other attractions of this place are cliffs and raging waterfalls, lush forest of bamboo and rhododendron, beautiful hillsides with small villages, the rocky high altitudes made by the glaciers. Visitors get the chance to discover the diverse ecosystem throughout the trail.

Panoramic mountain views of Ganesh Himal, Siringi Himal, Mount Manaslu, Lamjung Himal attract the eyes of the visitors and this trek is gaining its popularity these days.
