Terms and conditions to travel Nepal.

Information notes for Indian Nationals

The following documents must be carried by Indians travelling by flight :

1. Valid National passport.

2. Election ID card issued by Election Commission of India.

3. Emergency Certificate issued by Embassy of India, Kathmandu.

4. Identity Certificate issued by Embassy of India, Kathmandu.

5. Persons in the age of group of above 65 years and below 15 years would be exempted from the requirement of approved identity documents mentioned at SL. No. (i),(ii),(iii) and (iv). However, they must have some documents with photograph to confirm their age and identity such as PAN card, Driving license, CGHS card, Ration card etc.

6. Children between the age group of 15 to 18 years may be allowed to travel between India and Nepal on the strength of Identity certificate issued by the principal of the school in the prescribed performa.

7. COVID-19 vaccination certificate is not necessary to travel Nepal now. 

Note:-

1. Aadhaar (UID) card is not an acceptable travel document for travel to Nepal.

2. Certificate of Registration issued by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, Nepal to Indian nationals is not an acceptable travel document for travelling between India and Nepal.  

3. The Emergency Certificate & Identity Certificate issued by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu will be valid for single journey for travelling back to India.

Documents required to enter by road.

Indian citizens entering Nepal by road with their own vehicle must present the following documents at the Nepal border, along with their proof of citizenship:

- Vehicle registration certificate

- A Yaatayaat Anumati (driver's license) or a vehicle permit

- A Bhansar, also known as a customs permit.

Visa-on-arrival has resumed as usual, i.e., as it was prior to the epidemic, thus individuals with passports from those nations who are eligible for this service may use it. 

Health Precautions in Nepal 

In addition, there are health precautions that must be taken before visiting Nepal.

1. A vaccination record of Covid 19 is not necessary to travel Nepal. 

-Children under the age of five will not be subject to this clause.

2. A copy of the permit, if one is required, for mountaineering, hiking, or other sports.

3. Except for citizens of India, all foreigners entering Nepal must have a visa; if your country is not on the list of nations that require visas in advance, you may apply for a visa upon arrival. (Citizens of Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Estonia are eligible for visas-on-arrival.)

4. Except on public holidays, visitors can apply for a visa at this embassy during business hours (from 10:00 to 12:30 on weekdays).

4. The Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu offers visa on arrival for citizens of all European nations.

5. Handwritten passports will not be accepted for the issuing of visas, per the decision of the Government of Nepal.

6. Visa fees are waived for children under the age of ten.

The following paperwork must be provided by applicants in order to be granted a visa:

- A printed copy of the confirmation of the submission of the visa.

- Original passport with a minimum of six months of remaining validity and a copy of it

- A formal note or letter authorizing the issuance of a visa for holders of diplomatic or official passports (for issuing gratis visa)

Food: Despite popular belief, Nepalese cuisine is one of the most beautiful aspects of their culture. Nepalese cuisine is influenced by its neighbors India, Tibet, and China. Nepalese cuisine is thought to be healthy and low in fat. Dal Bhat - The Famous Staple Food of Nepal, Momos, Wo or Bara, Sel Roti, Samosa, Gundruk, Everest Beer, Yomari, Dhindho or Dhido, Gorkhali Lamb, Juju Dhau, Chatamari, Thukpa, Samay Baji, Choila, Tongba, Indian snacks are famous food of Nepal.

Transportation: The bus's seat numbers are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date of reservation, and they remain set throughout the journey. Nevertheless, guests may switch seats with fellow travelers with their approval. Once at the destination, non-AC vehicles will be used for all road travel based on group size. You will need to work with the tour manager if there is a traffic delay or road block due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of an accident, please proceed to the next location as directed by the tour manager; in such circumstances, we disclaim all liability for any injuries to passengers or damage to their luggage.

Hotels: Though we have reserved rooms in all of the above hotels in advance in accordance with our tour dates, if we are forced to change hotels due to unavoidable circumstances, we have full authority to do so without prior notice to the guest. If we are forced to provide alternative/similar accommodations, no refund will be granted. The rooms will be assigned according to the hotel's check-in time and must be vacated according to the hotel's check-out time. Rooms in some hotels may have twin beds. In hill stations, non-air conditioned rooms will be provided.

Luggage: Our staff will be available to carry your luggage throughout the tour, but we are not responsible for theft or damage to your luggage. There will be no claims entertained.

Tour Manager:  We recommend that you work closely with our tour manager in order to make your tour as enjoyable as possible. The tour manager is responsible for assigning rooms and selecting the daily food menu, and passengers should not interfere in these matters. Passengers who cause an unwelcome disruption to the tour's smooth operation, or who argue with the manager or other passengers, will be asked to leave the tour immediately and will not be refunded. 


Unavoidable Circumstances: If the tour program has to be changed or extended due to circumstances beyond our control, such as riots, floods, political unrest, band's, accidents, traffic jams, or any other natural or manmade calamity, the passengers will be responsible for the additional costs. If any passengers leave the tour mid-way for any reason, such as the death of a relative, illness, or any other reason, there will be no refund for the remainder of the tour. Passengers must also bear the costs of returning to their original location. If any tour is canceled by us, the cost and responsibility for organizing a new tour will be solely the responsibility of the passengers. Any disagreement will be resolved. 

Suggestions / Complaints During the Tour: If passengers have any suggestions/complaints regarding our services such as hotel, bus, food, etc., they should inform your sector in-charge and then our office immediately by whatsapp to your sales executive and cooperate with the tour manager, so that the same can be addressed as soon as possible. After the tour has concluded, no complaints or refunds will be entertained. 

Cancellations: You can confirm your reservation by paying a deposit (Non Refundable).

The balance payment is due 21 days before the tour's departure date. If you do not pay the balance amount within 21 days, your rooms will be automatically released with no refund. If we are forced to cancel the tour due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters such as floods, riots, bands, strikes, or any political reasons, we will offer you a date change or credit note after deducting 10% of the total tour cost as our service charge for making the necessary arrangements for your tour.

Policy on cancellations:

-50% of the tour cost between 10 and 21 days.

- 75% of the tour cost between 5 and 10 days.

- Within 05 days, 100% of the tour cost is refunded (NO REFUND).
