The Swargadwari tour, which means "Heaven's Door." This religious site is in the rugged Mid-Western part of Rapti Zone's Pyuthan district of Nepal. There is a belief that this is a gateway to Heaven and that one should attempt to reach Heaven to be blessed by God after death. Including scenic views of snow-capped mountains, lush green rice fields, dense cone-bearing, and shrub woods, and thus a glimpse into the Western Asian country's rural life the location itself has a lot to offer travelers. Moreover, the world is kept in order by the Swargadwari Ashram Guthi, who performs daily rituals and runs Ashram's day-to-day operations.

However, this is a prominent Hindu pilgrimage site. Nepalese and Indians are the most frequent visitors to this historical site. However, Swargadwari is also a popular trekking destination here in Nepal. If you are going to for trekking it takes two days to get there. There are two ways to get there, one is from Bhingri and next one is from Ghorahi. However, the paths to the location are breathtaking. Moreover, the route from Dang is more perilous in comparison to the bhingri road. 

Moreover, on the route to the Swargadwari we can see several Rhododendron trees. However, helicopter tour gives you an opportunity to experience the beauty of places within a short period for those who can’t go on their feet or are incapable of walking long way.

Itinerary of Swargadwari Temple

Your tour starts early in the morning. After breakfast and other early morning activities your tour guide will escort you to the domestic terminal of Tribhuwan International Airport from your hotel. After reaching the airport the security department will do some checking. Our tour guide will do a briefing about the Heli tour to Swargadwari, what to do and what not to do after the checking is done. Following the instructions, we will head towards the helipad and take off to the Swargadwari temple. We will get to experience the stunning arial view of white mountains like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu on the way. After a few minutes the helicopter lands near the temple and waits for us until we are done exploring the surroundings around the temple. We will get enough time to go around the temple, we can perform religious rituals and worship the temple. After full enjoyment and spending some time in the Swargadwari temple, we will then head back to Kathmandu. On the way we will get chance to see the most beautiful view of mountains and cities of Nepal.
