SCENIC POKHARA TOUR

Pokhara the second largest city after Kathmandu. Scenic Pokhara Tour, a city not to be missed while visiting Nepal. Pokhara is located 220 k.m. driving distance and 30 minutes by air from the capital Kathmandu.

However, Pokhara is a renowned and number one touristic destination in Nepal and probably in the whole Himalaya region. Pokhara is located on a green valley blessed with the natural beauty of high Annapurna Himalaya with famous Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish-Tail’ that reflects on its serene Fewa and Begnas Lakes.

Sarankot Hilltop for a stunning sunrise over the chain of peaks from the world’s 7th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m, 10th highest Mt. Annapurna 8,091 m, and 8th highest Mt. Manaslu 8,163 m including a range of smaller peaks with ever-present majestic Mt. Machhapuchare “Fish Tail” standing high at 6,993 meters.

Sarankot 1, 460 m high with the grand panorama of the mountain range, includes Pokhara green valley with Phewa Lake below, Sarankot is also a popular spot for paragliding which is one of the most active sports in Pokhara.

Tour of Natural Wonders:

Short drive to Devi’s waterfall with Gupteshwor Mahadev cave with lunch on route sightseeing places with a tour of International Mountain Museum, recently added in Pokhara is the Mountain Museum the first of its kind in Nepal, established and built by Mountaineering Association (NMA),  on 1st  Nov 1973, initiated the establishment of International Mountain Museum (IMM) in Pokhara. 

Brief Itinerary:

Day 01:  Fly to Pokhara and transfer to your hotel by Phewa Lake.

Day 02: Morning drive to Sarankot for sunrise, afternoon tour of Pokhara.

Day 03: Boating and hiking to Peace Stupa afternoon free for own individual activities. 

Day 06: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Itinerary: 

Day 01: Arrival in Pokhara

Drive or take a scenic 30-minute flight to Pokhara. Enjoy the attractive landscapes with Annapurna Himalaya in the scenery. Transfer to your hotel by the serene Phewa Lakeside. Explore shopping areas and dine in excellent international standard restaurants in Pokhara.

Day 02: Sunrise at Sarankot and Pokhara Tour

Morning drive to Sarankot for a stunning sunrise view. After sunrise return for breakfast and visit Devi’s Water Fall and Gupteshwor Mahadev cave. After lunch, explore the International Mountain Museum showcasing mountaineering history. Free time to observe the local market in Pokhara.

Day 03: Boating, Hiking to Peace Stupa, and Leisure

Early morning after breakfast morning boat ride on Phewa Lake, visiting the Island Temple of Barahi. Hike uphill to Peace Stupa, offering panoramic views of Pokhara and surrounding mountains. Leisure afternoon for individual activities and exploration of Pokhara city.

Day 04: Return to Kathmandu

Early morning after breakfast leisure or additional personal activities. Fly back to Kathmandu in the afternoon, enjoying a scenic 30-minute flight. Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu for relaxation or further exploration.
