Things to do while in Bandipur.

1. Explore the old city.

Walk around the charming streets, see the centuries-old homes, sip a coffee, or sample some delicious, deep-fried dough. The main street, The Bazaar, is car-free. But don't forget to take a detour down one of the side streets, where you'll get a better sense of the local culture and, on occasion, a wonderful perspective of the neighboring hills and mountains.

2. Visit Siddha Cave

We can see various caves in the Bandipur area. The Siddha cave is the popular cave in Bandipur which is 500 meters deep, is the largest cave of Asia. You may hike there in an hour and a half from Bandipur. Even with walking shoes on the caves themselves are huge and slick. Moreover, you'll be also constantly hiking upwards on your way back, so it's a great workout.

3. Hike to Ramkot village

Ramkot is five-kilometer away city from Bandipur. Looking around this city is like traveling back in time. Additionally, goats and poultry populate the little gardens of the houses. Similarly, most of the houses are made up of mud and timber. The hike to Ramkot is very wonderful, which gives you the feeling of an ancient city. If you visit Ramkot you can have views of lush rice fields, lowlands, and distant white Himalayan peaks.

4. Visit Thani Mai Temple

It is about a half-hour hike from the town Mount Thani Mai, with a tiny temple on top. It's a bit of a climb upstairs, but the view of the mountain ranges is well worth. Moreover, it and the viewpoint is such a magnificent site possibly the best of what Bandipur has to offer.

5. Visit Silk factory.

Silk factory is another attraction of Bandipur. If you are travelling to Bandipur you can explore a silk manufacturing company to witness how silkworms are used and how the garment is processed further. However, it appears to be a touristy activity.
